Embark on a journey of linguistic and cultural discovery exploring the foundations of the Latin language, as well as its primordial origins and continuing influences on the world of today.
Discover the language of ancient Rome in this introductory course, suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some ‘rusty’ knowledge. You will build a solid foundation in how Latin works while exploring the roots of many English words and its strong influence on modern Romance languages such as Italian, French, Portuguese and Spanish.
The course is designed to introduce you to the Latin language or remind you what you have learned before, revising and building on your basic knowledge.
